At PAI, we are motivated by one powerful truth: A woman who is in charge of her sexual and reproductive health can change her life and transform her community. PAI works with policymakers in Washington, D.C. and our network of global partners to advocate for accessible, quality health care and advance the sexual and reproductive rights of women, girls and other vulnerable groups.

Supporting Global Partners through Strategic Advocacy
We collaborate with sexual and reproductive rights advocates around the world to strengthen their country-level work through financial support and strategic guidance.
Increasing Country Ownership of Family Planning
We support our partners’ advocacy to improve policy and funding for sexual and reproductive health and rights. By investing in family planning, country governments are becoming increasingly resilient and less vulnerable to harmful U.S. foreign aid policies.

PAI partners with local family planning advocates working to protect and expand sexual and reproductive rights in their countries. Together, we are forging pathways to quality sexual and reproductive health care.

PAI champions progressive policies and funding that make sexual and reproductive rights a reality for all. We fight to remove the policy barriers between women, girls and other vulnerable groups and the quality care — including contraception and safe abortion — they need and deserve.
Abortion
We champion policies that protect and fulfill a woman’s right to make decisions about her body, health and future, including the right to safe, legal abortion care.
Contraception
We believe that everyone — especially women and girls — has the right to determine whether and when to have children.
Supportive Policies and Funding
We champion policies and funding that make sexual and reproductive health and rights a reality for all and fight to remove the policy barriers that prevent everyone, especially women and girls, from receiving the quality care they deserve.
