U.S. Post-election Analysis: Results and the implications for global SRHR
PAI is steadfast in its commitment to advocating for U.S. global policies and funding and ensuring that our fellow champions of choice receive timely information regarding our critical work.
On November 14th, PAI hosted a Post-election analysis webinar on the U.S. elections’ global implications for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). Since we do not accept U.S. government funding, we can hold our U.S. administrations accountable and ensure they deliver on their promises to the American people.
The webinar featured a panel of experts from PAI, including:
- Nabeeha Kazi Hutchins, President & CEO
- Mustafa Kudrati, Senior Vice President of Program Strategy & Growth
- Craig Lasher, Senior Fellow & U.S. Policy Analyst
- Rachel Clement, Senior Director of U.S. Government Strategy
These experts discussed several election outcomes, how changes to the majorities in Congress will impact U.S. foreign assistance and what we know/don’t know about the incoming administration and its policies. Even though this is a complex and consequential time for our movement and the incoming administration will have far-reaching global impacts on our communities, PAI remains dedicated to advancing policies and serving as a resource.
