President Trump’s expanded Global Gag Rule targets women’s reproductive rights by blocking global health assistance to foreign organizations who use their own, non-U.S. funds to provide information, referrals, or services for legal abortion or to advocate for access to abortion services in their own countries. In addition to risking women’s lives, this deadly policy creates destructive ripple effects that are numerous and far-reaching.
