Nellie Mitchell

International Advocacy Associate

Nellie works on a variety of projects within the International Advocacy Department, including PAI’s quality and rights portfolio, Latin America and Caribbean regional work, and small grants programs providing support to Southern CSO and FBO partners in developing and implementing advocacy strategies. Prior to joining PAI, she interned for several organizations focused on women’s rights and human rights, including the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Guatemala Human Rights Commission. Nellie holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies from American University’s School of International Service.
